Private Client Solicitor

Service Care Legal are working with a well-established and reputable law firm based in Surrey, is seeking to recruit a Private Client Solicitor to join its growing Private Client department. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced and motivated individual who enjoys managing their own caseload while working collaboratively within a supportive and knowledgeable team.

ROLE:                  Private Client Solicitor
LOCATION:         Surrey
SALARY:              £45,000 to £65,000 DOE / PQE / interview performance

The Role - The successful candidate will handle a broad and varied private client caseload and will be expected to work with a high degree of autonomy, while also contributing to the wider team environment.

Key Responsibilities
 

• Managing a full range of private client matters, including:
  • Wills and estate planning
  • Probate and estate administration
  • Inheritance Tax planning
  • Trusts
  • Lasting Powers of Attorney
  • Court of Protection matters
• Developing and maintaining strong client relationships
• Contributing to the growth and development of the department
• Ensuring a high standard of client care and compliance

Candidate Requirements
 

• Ideally 3 years’ PQE (applications outside this range may still be considered)
• Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with solid private client experience
• Experience in contentious probate is desirable but not essential
• STEP membership and/or Association of Lifetime Lawyers membership would be an advantage, though not essential
