We are currently recruiting for experienced and reliable Production Operatives to join a busy manufacturing operation in Tankersley. This role plays a key part in supporting the production of high-performance construction materials, ensuring production targets, quality standards, and health & safety procedures are consistently achieved.
This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with a strong manufacturing background who are comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment and operating machinery safely and efficiently.

The Role
As a Production Operative, you will be responsible for operating and supporting various areas of the manufacturing and production process. Duties will include:
- Operating production machinery including mixers & fillers
- Carrying out blending and filling operations to required specifications
- Assisting with machine setup and changeovers
- Monitoring production lines and ensuring output targets are met
- Conducting quality inspections and reporting defects or inconsistencies
- Following health & safety procedures and site operating standards
- Reporting machinery faults, breakdowns, or production concerns
- Supporting warehouse and production operations where required
- Working collaboratively with other departments
Candidate Requirements
We are looking for candidates who have previous experience within a manufacturing or production environment and who can demonstrate strong awareness of workplace safety and operational procedures.
Ideal candidates will have:
- Previous experience operating machinery within a production or manufacturing setting
- Experience with fillers, packing, wrapping, or mixing equipment
- The ability to work under pressure and meet production targets
- Multi skilled in warehouse and production operations
- Previous experience with Warehouse Management Systems and SAP
- Knowledge/experience of LOTO (Lock Out Tag Out
- A counterbalance FLT licence is desirable
