About the Role We are recruiting for an experienced Registered Manager to lead a CQC-registered residential service providing supervised detoxification and a trauma-informed therapeutic rehabilitation programme.
This is a key leadership role responsible for the day-to-day management and regulatory compliance of the service, ensuring safe, effective, and compassionate care for all clients. Key Responsibilities
- Ensure full compliance with CQC regulations and all relevant health and social care legislation.
- Provide strong leadership to nursing, therapeutic, and recovery staff, fostering teamwork and high standards of care.
- Oversee detoxification processes, safeguarding, and risk management procedures.
- Implement and manage a trauma-informed therapeutic programme integrating CBT and 12-Step approaches.
- Lead on quality assurance, audits, and preparation for CQC inspections.
- Manage admissions, assessments, and discharge planning, ensuring a person-centred approach.
- Liaise with commissioners, external agencies, and families to ensure collaborative care.
- Maintain accurate records, audits, and performance reports.
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or equivalent).
- Registered with or eligible for CQC registration as a Registered Manager.
- Significant experience managing substance misuse, mental health, or residential care services.
- Strong knowledge of detoxification protocols, recovery models, and CQC compliance.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organisational ability.
- Experience with trauma-informed care, CBT, and 12-Step facilitation.
- Knowledge of commissioning frameworks and service development.
- Experience improving CQC outcomes and managing clinical governance.
