Location: Wigston Police Station, Leicestershire
Contract: 3 month fixed term contract with possible extension

About the Role:
Leicestershire Police is seeking dedicated and detail?oriented Safeguarding Co?ordinators to join our Safeguarding Hub in Wigston. In this vital role, you will help protect vulnerable adults and children by conducting risk assessments, analysing safeguarding referrals, and sharing information with partner agencies. You will play an important part in ensuring that those at risk receive timely and effective support.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and process safeguarding referrals involving adults and children.
- Compile accurate and detailed safeguarding reports.
- Research and analyse police and partner agency data.
- Represent the police at multi?agency meetings and contribute to decision?making.
- Identify high?risk cases and escalate appropriately.
- Share relevant information securely with internal and external partners.
- Maintain records, take meeting minutes, and support colleagues during absences.
- Handle sensitive information in accordance with the Data Protection Act and Force Policy.
Essential skills and experience:
- Educated to A?Level standard in English Language (or equivalent experience).
- Experience of working in a confidential environment.
- Proven ability to research, analyse and report information clearly.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organisational and problem?solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Previous work in a safeguarding or multi?agency setting.
- Understanding of data protection legislation.
- Competent in Microsoft Office and accurate data entry.
