Candidate Responsibilities – What the Spirometry Nurse Will Do:

• Conduct spirometry testing in primary care settings with accuracy and professionalism
• Support patients through the testing process, providing clear instructions and reassurance
• Maintain detailed and accurate patient records in compliance with healthcare protocols
• Ensure the proper calibration and maintenance of spirometry equipment
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver high-quality diagnostic services
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations and confidentiality policies
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities

Candidate Skills and Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Spirometry Nurse or in a similar primary care diagnostic role
• Knowledge of spirometry testing procedures and equipment
• Strong communication and patient care skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Flexibility to work across multiple locations (if applicable)
• Qualified nursing registration (e.g., NMC registration in the UK)
