Substance Misuse Nurse – Kent Location: Kent
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday (9:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
Contract: 3 months (with strong potential for extension)
Pay Rate: £35 per hour (Ltd)

About the Role:
Service Care Solutions are currently recruiting for a Substance Misuse Nurse to join one of our clients’ teams in Kent. This is an excellent opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of individuals affected by substance misuse.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct physical and mental health assessments for service users and ensure appropriate referrals to primary or secondary healthcare services.
• Complete assessments for all alcohol service users in line with the Alcohol Policy and determine safe detoxification plans.
• Assist with titration for opiate service users to achieve optimal OST dosing, maintaining clear communication with team members and community pharmacists.
• Provide education, health promotion, and screening for blood-borne viruses (BBV).
• Administer Hepatitis B vaccinations where indicated.
• Work within integrated care pathways for individuals infected with BBVs (Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C, HIV).
