Supported Living Support Worker – Whitehaven Temporary Contract – Full Time

Service Care Solutions are recruiting for a Supported Living Support Worker on behalf of a private healthcare provider based in Whitehaven. This is a full time temporary role requiring flexibility to work both day and night shifts.

About the Role You will be supporting adults within a supported living service, providing person centred care to individuals with varying levels of need. This may include emotional support, promoting independence, daily living assistance, and ensuring the safety and wellbeing of service users.

The ideal candidate will be compassionate, reliable, and confident working both independently and as part of a wider care team.

Key Requirements

• Previous experience in a supported living, residential, or care environment
• Ability to work full time, including a mix of day and night shifts
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to maintain accurate records and follow service protocols
• Must be a car driver with access to a vehicle
• Willingness to undergo compliance checks (DBS, references, etc.)

Shift Pattern

• Full?time hours
• Flexibility required to cover days, nights, and some weekends depending on service needs

Pay Rates (PAYE)

• £13.69 per hour (PAYE including holiday pay)
• £12.21 per hour (PAYE excluding holiday pay)
