Our social work division is one of the biggest divisions at Service Care Solutions and they work closely with candidates who help children struggling with mental health issues every day.

1 in 8 children have a diagnosable mental health condition, 3 children in every class have a diagnosable mental health problem, and over half of mental health problems are established by the age of 14.

Place2be - Who are they?

Place2be have been providing emotional support to children in schools for over 25 years. They are committed to providing support and empowering children with Mental Health problems from an early age, using a therapeutic approach to their work.

Place2Be have a strong early intervention. The provide support and help schools understand and identify mental health problems at an early stage in education, enable children to focus on learning and give them tools to cope with challenges throughout their lives.

‘Find Your Brave’ - What is it?

Place2be set out to shine a spotlight on the importance of children and young people’s mental health, and in 2015 the first ever Children’s Mental Health week was launched.

Now in its sixth year, place2be hope to encourage more and more people to get involved and spread the word. From 3rd of Feb for a week, schools, community youth groups, and individuals across the UK will participate in Children’s Mental Health Week. Their participants will explore new ways to try something new and push themselves out of their comfort zones to build confidence, self-esteem and make them feel good about themselves ‘Finding Their Brave’.

Being ‘brave’ doesn’t just mean physical, it can also mean ‘mental’. The CMHW also promotes confidence in speaking out about problems, talking about issues and addressing worries to.
