Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 support for pupils across KS1 and KS2.
- Support pupils with learning activities and classroom engagement.
- Assist the class teacher in adapting lessons to meet individual needs.
- Encourage positive behaviour, confidence, and independence.
- Support pupils with social and emotional development.
- Work closely with teachers and SEN staff to implement support strategies.
- Help maintain a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment.
- Previous experience working with primary-aged children is desirable.
- Experience supporting pupils with SEN needs such as autism, ADHD, or learning difficulties is beneficial.
- Patient, caring, and supportive approach.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Relevant Teaching Assistant qualification (Level 2/3) is beneficial but not essential with relevant experience.
