About the Role
We are seeking experienced and compassionate clinicians to join a dynamic Clinical Team within the Emergency Operations Centre (EOC). This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in a modern “virtual care” model—delivering remote clinical assessment, triage, and advice to ensure patients receive the right care, at the right time.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct remote clinical assessments for patients accessing the 999 service
- Provide onward referrals or safe home management advice using clinical decision support systems
- Support and coach Emergency Medical Advisors (EMAs) and dispatch teams within the EOC
- Clinically assess, prioritise, and manage incidents to ensure patient safety and appropriate resource allocation
- Communicate effectively with patients, carers, colleagues, and healthcare professionals
- Use strong negotiation skills to coordinate care and facilitate appropriate referrals
- Act as a clinical leader within the EOC, including making safeguarding and capacity/consent decisions
Requirements
- Recent experience in a relevant clinical role (Nurse or Paramedic)
- Active NHS Pathways training within the last 6 months
- Willingness to attend internal training
- Nurses must hold Adult Nursing qualification
- Ability to work on-site in Crawley or Medway (within commutable distance)
