An exciting opportunity to join a leading charity delivering life-changing domestic abuse and homelessness support services, leading a trauma-informed accommodation team across Cheshire West and Chester. Please note: this is a female-only position (exempt under the Equality Act 2010, Schedule 9, Part 1) due to the nature of the service supporting women affected by domestic abuse. THE ROLE
You will lead and coordinate a Domestic Abuse Safe Accommodation service, ensuring high-quality, trauma-informed support is delivered to individuals and families while driving service performance and partnership working.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar leadership role within domestic abuse, supported housing, or a related service.
WORKING HOURS 32 hours full time

You will lead and coordinate a Domestic Abuse Safe Accommodation service, ensuring high-quality, trauma-informed support is delivered to individuals and families while driving service performance and partnership working.
- Lead the day-to-day delivery of safe accommodation and outreach services
- Manage, supervise, and develop a team of support staff and volunteers
- Oversee referrals, allocations, and 24/7 service access including on-call rota
- Ensure effective multi-agency working including MARAC and local partnerships
- Monitor service performance, outcomes, and produce detailed monthly reports
- Manage risk, safeguarding concerns, and complex casework
- Support service development, innovation, and continuous improvement initiatives
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar leadership role within domestic abuse, supported housing, or a related service.
- Strong experience supporting individuals affected by domestic abuse and/or homelessness
- Proven experience managing or supervising teams in a support setting
- Experience completing risk and needs assessments (e.g. DASH RIC)
- Strong knowledge of safeguarding, housing law, and domestic abuse legislation
- Experience of multi-agency working including MARAC and partnership forums
- Ability to deliver trauma-informed, person-centred services
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
