ADHD Nurse Prescriber (Remote) Salary: Up to £65,000 per annum (pro rata for part time)

Location: Remote, with monthly face-to-face clinic attendance in Canterbury or Basingstoke (expenses paid)
About the Role We are seeking experienced ADHD Nurse Prescribers to join our remote clinical team. This role involves assessing, diagnosing and treating individuals with ADHD, managing medication pathways, and ensuring high-quality, evidence-based care in line with NICE guidelines.
You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary clinical team, maintain accurate clinical records, and communicate effectively with internal colleagues and external services. Ongoing professional development and keeping up to date with current ADHD research and best practice are integral to the role.
Part-time working is welcomed, with a minimum requirement of 27 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments for individuals suspected of having ADHD and diagnose where appropriate.
- Communicate assessment outcomes clearly to individuals and their families, producing detailed reports with clear clinical rationale.
- Complete thorough reviews for individuals with an existing ADHD diagnosis, delivering holistic, patient-centred care.
- Initiate, titrate and discontinue ADHD medications (both stimulant and non-stimulant) where clinically appropriate.
- Manage a caseload through the medication pathway, ensuring regular reviews in line with clinical protocols and NICE guidelines.
- Generate prescriptions using appropriate prescribing formularies and monitor effectiveness, safety and ongoing suitability of treatment.
- Maintain accurate, timely and compliant clinical documentation.
- Qualified Mental Health Nurse with an independent non-medical prescribing qualification (V300).
- Current NMC registration, with ongoing maintenance of revalidation requirements.
- Demonstrable experience in the assessment and treatment of ADHD.
- Experience managing complex presentations and responding appropriately in challenging or crisis situations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Willingness to attend a face-to-face clinic in Canterbury or Basingstoke once per month.
