Job Vacancy: Administrative Officer – Children and Young People’s Department
Location: N1 1XR
Contract: 3 Months (Initially) 35 Hours per week
Salary: £28.50 per hour UMB ( £21.30 PAYE)

The Role We are seeking an organised and proactive Administrative Officer to join our Cllient's dynamic team. You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of their department by providing efficient administrative and clerical support to staff, managers, and service users.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Children and Young People’s team.
- Handle incoming calls, emails, and enquiries with professionalism and confidentiality.
- Maintain accurate records, databases, and files in line with data protection policies.
- Support the coordination of meetings, appointments, and events.
- Prepare and distribute correspondence, reports, and documentation.
- Assist with financial processes such as purchase orders, invoices, and petty cash.
- Liaise with families, external agencies, and partners to support service delivery.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, with a friendly and professional manner.
- Confident in using Microsoft Office and digital systems.
- Able to handle sensitive and confidential information with care.
- A team player who can also work independently and prioritise workload effectively.
- Previous experience in an administrative role, ideally within a children’s services, education, health, or social care environment.
- Experience in Date Mangement
