Adult Social Care Lawyer

Service Care Solutions is working alongside a respected local authority, based in Berkshire, which needs an experienced Adult Social Care Lawyer to join their team This is an excellent opportunity to take on a varied and meaningful caseload while supporting three different local authorities.
 
Role: Adult Social Care Lawyer
Location: Berkshire – remote working
Umbrella Rate: £50 - £55ph
PAYE Inc. Rate: £44.10 - £48.44ph
Contract Length: 3 months ongoing
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Handle a mixed caseload of Adult Social Care law from start to completion.
• Handle legal matters including (but not limited to): deprivation of liberty; ordinary residence; welfare matters; deputyship; age assessments and judicial review.
• Attend court on behalf of the council when required.

Requirements for the role:

• A Solicitor, Barrister, or Chartered Legal Executive (CILEx) with litigation accreditation and a current practising certificate.
• Over 5 years of PQE in Adult Social Care law.
• Have a strong understanding of the structural frameworks of local authority organisations.
