Adult Social Care Paralegal

Service Care Legal are recruiting for an experienced Adult Social Care Paralegal to join the legal team of a South London Borough Council. This is an excellent opportunity for a paralegal with relevant local authority or social care experience to join an established public sector legal team.

ROLE:                  Adult Social Care Paralegal
RATE:                   £26.77ph umbrella / £23.70ph PAYE inc. holiday pay / £21.50ph PAYE exc. holiday pay
LOCATION:          South London / predominantly remote
CONTRACT:        3 months, with possibility of extension

Please note that this is office attendance 1 day per month.

The Role
 

• Assist with a caseload of Adult Social Care, Mental Health and Court of Protection matters.
• Support solicitors with legal research, case preparation and drafting documentation.
• Assist with Court of Protection applications and related proceedings.

About You
 

• Previous experience working within Adult Social Care, Mental Health or Court of Protection law.
• Paralegal experience within a local authority or public sector legal environment is desirable.
• Strong organisational and case management skills.
