Adult Social Care Solicitor

Service Care Solutions are currently recruiting on behalf of a Local Authority in Tyneside for an experienced Adult Social Care Solicitor to join their legal team on a temporary basis. This is an excellent opportunity to support a busy local authority within a well-established and supportive legal department.

Pay Rate: £50-£60 per hour (Umbrella)
PAYE (Inc.Hol)  - £44.50 - £53.28

Key Responsibilities as an Adult Social Care Solicitor:

• Manage a full caseload of adult social care Law.
• Conduct advocacy where required
• Attend case conferences and multi-agency meetings
• Ensure compliance with current legislation, guidance, and local authority procedures

About you as an Adult Social Care Solicitor:

• Qualified Solicitor, Barrister, or Legal Executive with a current practising certificate
• Proven experience handling adult social care matters within a local authority setting
• Strong working knowledge of the Care Act 2014 and Mental Capacity Act 2005
