Service Care Solutions is working in partnership with a booming local authority, based in Bournemouth, which is looking to recruit an experienced Adult Social Care Senior Solicitor/Lawyer to join its Legal Services team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced local government lawyer to take on a varied and challenging caseload.
Role: Adult Social Care Senior Solicitor / Lawyer
Location: Bournemouth – predominantly home-based
Umbrella Rate: £55 - £60ph
PAYE Inc. Rate: £47.96 - £52.30ph
Contract Length: 3 months ongoing

Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialist legal input to the Service Director and Head of Legal Services.
- Represent the Council in routine, complex and high-risk matters, including related legal proceedings.
- Manage a busy and varied adult social care caseload with limited supervision from start to completion.
- Be a qualified solicitor, legal executive or barrister (in England and Wales) with a current practicing certificate.
- Significant experience advising on adult social care matters within a local authority or similar public sector environment.
- The ability to attend court and the office in Bournemouth at least once per month.
- Hybrid working.
- Weekly pay – the rate offered will depend on experience and interview performance.
- Flexible hours.
