Adult Social Worker - Community & Mental Health Teams

Teams Available: Community Team & Mental Health Team
Rate: £31.91 per hour Umbrella (£25.13 per hour PAYE)
Contract: 3-Month Temporary Contract with a View to Extension

Service Care Solutions are currently recruiting for experienced Adult Social Workers to join Dudley Council across a number of Adult Services teams, including Community and Mental Health.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established authority and work within supportive multidisciplinary teams, helping adults achieve positive outcomes through assessments, care planning, reviews, and safeguarding interventions.

Key Responsibilities

• Undertake strengths-based assessments and reviews.
• Manage a varied caseload of adults with complex needs.
• Develop and review care and support plans.
• Complete safeguarding enquiries and risk assessments.
• Work collaboratively with service users, families, carers, and partner agencies.
• Maintain accurate and timely case records in line with statutory requirements.

Requirements

• Qualified Social Worker with a recognised Social Work qualification.
• Registered with Social Work England.
• Previous experience working within Adult Social Care.
• Experience within Community or Mental Health Services is desirable.
• Strong assessment, communication, and case management skills.
