Service Care Legal are recruiting for an experienced Adult Social Care Lawyer to join a South London local authority legal team. Please find below further details regarding this position.
 
ROLE:                  Adult Social Care Lawyer
RATE:                   Up to £60ph umbrella / £53.31ph PAYE inc. holiday pay / £47.57ph PAYE exc. holiday pay
LOCATION:         South London / remote
CONTRACT:        3 months with possibility of extension
 
The Role
 

• Manage a caseload of Adult Social Care, Mental Health and Court of Protection matters.
• Provide pragmatic legal advice to client departments and stakeholders.
• Handle Court of Protection applications and related proceedings.
• Maintain accurate case records using a case management system.

 
About You
 

• Qualified Solicitor, Barrister or CILEX.
• Strong experience in Adult Social Care and Court of Protection work.
• Previous local authority experience preferred.
