Rate of Pay:

• PAYE: £26.80 per hour
• Umbrella/Limited: £35.11 per hour

Contract:

• Initial 3-month contract with the possibility of extension

Working Pattern:

• Hybrid working arrangement with 2 days in the office and 3 days working from home

Service Care Solutions are recruiting for an experienced Adults Locality Social Worker to join the Adults Services Team at Vale of Glamorgan Council.

This is a rewarding opportunity to work within a supportive local authority, managing a varied caseload and supporting adults to achieve positive outcomes whilst promoting independence and wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities

• Undertake strengths-based assessments and reviews.
• Manage a caseload of adults with a range of care and support needs.
• Complete safeguarding enquiries and risk assessments.
• Develop, implement and review care and support plans.
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and partner agencies.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with relevant legislation and policy.

Requirements

• Qualified Social Worker.
• Registered with Social Care Wales.
• Previous experience within Adult Social Care services.
• Strong assessment, care planning and case management skills.
• Sound knowledge of safeguarding and relevant legislation.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
