Are you an experienced Advanced Clinical Practitioner (ACP) looking for flexible locum opportunities across Manchester?

Service Care Solutions is recruiting experienced Advanced Clinical Practitioners (Nurse, Paramedic, or Pharmacist background) to support Urgent Care Centres across Manchester. We are seeking clinicians who are Level 7 fully accredited in Advanced Clinical Practice and confident managing a varied range of urgent and primary care presentations.

ACP Responsibilities As a Locum Advanced Clinical Practitioner, your responsibilities will include:

• Assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients presenting with a wide range of urgent care conditions.
  
  
• Conducting autonomous clinical assessments, including history taking and physical examinations.
  
  
• Managing minor injuries, illnesses, and undifferentiated patient presentations.
  
  
• Developing and implementing appropriate treatment plans.
  
  
• Prescribing medications within your scope of practice.
  
  
• Requesting and interpreting relevant investigations where clinically appropriate.
  
  
• Making referrals to secondary care and other healthcare services when required.
  
  
• Providing health advice, education, and support to patients.
  
  
• Maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation.
  
  
• Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe, effective, patient-centred care.
  
  
• Supporting high standards of clinical governance and quality within the service.

Candidate Requirements

• Registered Nurse, Paramedic, or Pharmacist with relevant professional registration.
  
  
• Level 7 qualification in Advanced Clinical Practice (fully accredited).
  
  
• Previous experience working autonomously within urgent care, emergency care, primary care, or similar settings.
  
  
• Advanced assessment and clinical decision-making skills.
  
  
• Independent prescribing qualification (where applicable).
  
  
• Ability to manage a varied and complex patient caseload.
  
  
• Experience using clinical systems such as EMIS Web, SystmOne, or similar is desirable.
  
  
• Valid professional indemnity insurance.
