Service Care Solutions are recruiting for an experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioner or Advanced Clinical Practitioner to support a well-established GP Surgery in Nottingham. This opportunity is available on a temporary/locum, temp-to-perm, or permanent basis, depending on candidate preference and suitability.

Working Pattern
- Ideally Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays (1 - 3 days per week)
- 8:00am – 6:30pm
- Some flexibility may be considered
Pay / Salary
- Locum: £45 LTD per hour or £39 PAYE Inclusive per hour
- Permanent: Salary dependent on experience
Role Overview The successful candidate will work autonomously within a multidisciplinary primary care team, delivering high-quality, evidence-based care to patients across all age groups. The role requires confident clinical decision-making and the ability to independently assess, diagnose, treat and manage a range of acute and chronic conditions.
Key Responsibilities
- Undertake comprehensive patient assessments including history taking, clinical examination, diagnosis and treatment planning
- Independently manage minor illness presentations and undifferentiated conditions
- Prescribe safely and effectively in line with independent prescribing qualification
- Request, interpret and act upon diagnostic tests and investigations
- Support the management of long-term conditions including asthma, COPD, diabetes and hypertension
- Provide health promotion and preventative care advice
- Refer patients appropriately to secondary care or community services
- Maintain accurate and contemporaneous clinical records using SystmOne
- Work collaboratively with GPs and the wider multidisciplinary team
- Contribute to clinical governance, audit and quality improvement initiatives
Essential Requirements
- Qualified ANP or ACP, with Full Level 7 Master’s qualification
- Independent Prescribing qualification (V300)
- Experience working within Primary Care / GP Surgery
- Proficiency in SystmOne
- Ability to work autonomously and manage clinical risk effectively
