Setting: GP Surgery
System: SystmOne

Contract Type: Permanent
Salary: Dependent on experience

Service Care Solutions are recruiting for an experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) or Advanced Clinical Practitioner (ACP) to join a well-established and supportive GP Surgery based in Nottingham. This is a permanent opportunity offering stability, flexibility, and the chance to work within a collaborative and patient-focused primary care environment.

Working Pattern
  • Ideally Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays (1–3 days per week)

  • 08:00am – 18:30pm

  • Some flexibility may be considered for the right candidate

Role Overview The successful candidate will work autonomously as part of a multidisciplinary primary care team, delivering high-quality, evidence-based clinical care to patients across all age groups. The role requires strong clinical decision-making skills and confidence in independently assessing, diagnosing, treating, and managing both acute and long-term conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake comprehensive patient assessments including history taking, clinical examination, diagnosis, and treatment planning

  • Independently manage minor illness and undifferentiated presentations

  • Prescribe safely and effectively within scope of independent prescribing qualification

  • Request, interpret, and act upon diagnostic investigations

  • Support the management of long-term conditions including asthma, COPD, diabetes, and hypertension

  • Provide health promotion, preventative care, and self-management advice

  • Refer patients appropriately to secondary care or community services

  • Maintain accurate and contemporaneous clinical records using SystmOne

  • Work collaboratively with GPs and the wider multidisciplinary team

  • Contribute to clinical governance, audit, and quality improvement initiatives

Essential Requirements
  • Qualified ANP or ACP with Full Level 7 Master’s qualification

  • Independent Prescribing (V300) qualification

  • Previous experience working within Primary Care / GP Surgery settings

  • Proficiency using SystmOne

  • Ability to work autonomously and manage clinical risk effectively

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Advanced Practitioner seeking a long-term role within a supportive practice that values clinical autonomy, teamwork, and high standards of patient care.
