- Supporting and challenging schools to meet the needs of children in care.
- Working directly with a range of professionals to improve educational outcomes.
- Providing advice, training, and guidance to schools, social workers, and carers.
- Contributing to reports, assessments, and monitoring progress.
- Travel to schools both within and outside London (travel warrants provided for out-of-London visits).
- Attend in-person meetings and maintain an office presence within the borough.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Experience teaching at least two key stages.
- Strong report-writing skills and the ability to work with precision and clarity.
- Flexibility to follow direction while also working with autonomy and creative flair.
- A clear understanding of the purpose and statutory function of a Virtual School.
