Admissions and Assessment Coordinator
Family Residential Service – South Yorkshire
The charity is seeking a motivated Admissions and Assessment Coordinator to join our Family Residential Service in Sheffield. Our service provides vital drug and alcohol recovery support for parents and their children in a safe and supportive residential setting.
This is a full-time role (Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm), based at our Family Residential Service. You will also participate in an on-call rota to support staff and ensure consistent service delivery. Flexible working will be considered.
Our service is located in South Yorkshire, with excellent transport links. Housed in a large Victorian building refurbished in 2022, the site offers free onsite parking and is easily accessible by multiple bus routes.

- Managing all service enquiries and referrals, completing comprehensive needs and risk assessments.
- Working with the Residential Manager to make informed placement decisions for individuals with multiple needs.
- Welcoming new residents and ensuring their needs are supported from the moment they arrive.
- Overseeing data management for referrals and assessments and ensuring safe, compliant admissions processes.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with referrers and stakeholders.
About You
- Experience working with individuals and families with complex needs, including addiction, and an understanding of residential rehabilitation.
- Skilled in developing and managing relationships with multiple stakeholders.
- Confident in completing robust assessments and risk management plans.
- Positive, innovative, and highly motivated—capable of working independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
