Are you a dedicated mental health professional seeking a challenging and rewarding role? We are currently recruiting for a Band 6 CRHT position within the Crisis Resolution and Home Treatment (CRHT) Team in Chesterfield. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to urgent mental health support within a dynamic and supportive environment.
Position Overview:
The role is a 12-week contract offering a pay rate of £26 per hour (LTD rate, inclusive of holiday and NI contributions). The position is based in Chesterfield and involves working as part of a 24/7 service providing flexible shift patterns tailored to meet service needs. The role is ideal for an experienced Mental Health Nurse (RMN) or similar registered professional with a solid background in secondary mental health services.

Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing urgent mental health assessments and interventions
- Visiting patients at home, requiring a car driver with business insurance
- Conducting risk assessments and supporting risk management plans
- Working within a multidisciplinary team to deliver prompt, effective care
- Supporting individuals vulnerable to inpatient admission and providing community-based care
- Covering a range of shifts including early, late, long days, and occasional nights (Monday to Sunday)
- 1-2 years minimum experience working within secondary mental health services
- Confidence in risk assessment and multi-disciplinary team collaboration
- Registered with a relevant body (e.g., RMN)
- Car driver with valid business insurance
- Previous experience in a Crisis Team or urgent assessment setting
- Supporting individuals at risk of inpatient admission
- £250 Training Allowance to support your professional development
