Building Surveyor – Central London Housing Association
£250 PAYE / £290 Umbrella LTD (Inside IR35)
36 hours per week
3–6 month contract

Overview

A Central London Housing Association is looking for a Building Surveyor to support the delivery of both planned and reactive works programmes. You will provide professional building consultancy services across a mixed-tenure property portfolio, ensuring value for money, compliance, and high standards of customer service.

Responsibilities

• Carry out full building surveys, reports, and cost analyses.
• Manage works programmes and oversee responsive repairs to support planned maintenance.
• Project manage disrepair cases and void works in line with compliance and contract standards.
• Conduct post-inspections and assure contractor performance against KPIs.
• Provide technical advice on major repairs, FRA, EPCs, and cyclical programmes.
• Support colleagues in delivering excellent surveying services and share best practice.

Requirements

• Relevant surveying qualification and/or experience.
• Experience with JCT/NEC contracts and ability to produce technical reports.
• Project management skills across repairs and planned maintenance.
• Member of RICS/CIOB desirable.
• Strong IT skills, including MS Office.
