Damp and Mould Surveyor – Hamnpshire based Council
£23.00 PAYE / £29.00 Umbrella (Inside IR35)
37 hours per week

A Local Council in Hampshire are seeking a proactive and experienced Damp and Mould Surveyor to support and coordinate damp and mould-related maintenance and improvement works across the housing portfolio. This key role ensures properties remain safe, compliant, and healthy environments for residents and staff.

Responsibilities:

• Manage a programme of minor works focused on damp, mould, and condensation remediation.
• Specify, plan, and oversee remedial and improvement projects, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
• Coordinate contractors, surveyors, and internal teams to maintain high-quality standards.
• Ensure full compliance with CDM, health and safety, and relevant legislation.
• Oversee budgets, schedules, and resources to meet service demands and deliver value for money.
• Lead by example, promoting a proactive approach to building safety and resident wellbeing.

Requirements:

• Experience managing building maintenance or minor works projects, ideally within a housing environment.
• Strong technical knowledge of damp and mould remediation.
• Understanding of CDM regulations and construction health and safety.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle
