Candidate Responsibilities:
- Promptly answer incoming patient calls with professionalism
- Direct patients to the appropriate services or personnel
- Handle calls with empathy, patience, and understanding
- Support the practice team during busy periods, managing increased call volumes
- Maintain accurate records and document patient interactions securely
- Uphold confidentiality and compliance standards
- Proven experience working in a GP surgery or primary care environment
- Ownership of an NHS Smartcard
- Confident in using SystmOne system
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure while remaining professional
- Availability for shifts from 7:30 am – 3:30 pm or 10:30 am – 6:30 pm, Monday to Friday
- Competitive pay at £14.48 LTD per hour (£13.30 PAYE inclusive)
