Carpenter

We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Carpenter to join a local authority’s repairs and maintenance team based in Warwickshire. This role involves working on both void and occupied domestic properties.

We’re looking for a Carpenter experienced in repairs and maintenance on domestic properties. This is a stable, full-time role ideal for someone with social housing or council experience.

Duties Include:
 

• Carrying out general carpentry repairs in occupied and void properties
• Repairing and replacing doors, frames, skirting boards, architraves, etc
• Installing and adjusting door locks, handles, hinges, and other ironmongery
• Repairing and replacing kitchen units, worktops, and cupboards
• Fitting and repairing flooring, including floorboards and joists
• Building or repairing stud walls, partitions, and shelving

This is a fantastic opportunity to secure sociable, full-time hours Monday to Friday. The hourly pay rate for this role is £22.22 Ltd (PAYE equivalent £19.07 inclusive of holiday).

You will be working a standard 37-hour week, with potential for overtime. An immediate start is available.

You will need:
 

• Proven experience in Carpentry, ideally within social housing or council work
• Your own basic hand tools and PPE
• Full UK driving licence
• NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Carpentry / Joinery
