This is a flexible, remote-based opportunity ideal for clinicians passionate about supporting families on their neurodevelopmental journey.
Role Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive developmental history interviews and ADHD assessments using validated tools and clinical best practices.
- Engage with children and young people in a compassionate, age-appropriate manner throughout the assessment.
- Review ADOS reports, developmental histories, and collateral information from parents, schools, and other professionals.
- Formulate and communicate clear, evidence-based diagnoses in line with DSM-5 criteria.
- Provide thoughtful feedback and signposting to families, including recommendations for next steps.
- Collaborate with a supportive multidisciplinary team (MDT) in planned clinics and ad hoc discussions when needed.
- Complete and submit high-quality diagnostic reports within 48 hours post-assessment (admin and formatting support provided).
- Initiate onward referrals as clinically appropriate and in line with local NHS Trust/ICB protocols.
- ? £225 per completed assessment (outside IR35)
- ? Flexible scheduling – work up to four assessments per day, on days that suit you (Monday to Sunday)
- ? Fully remote working – conduct assessments from your own secure setting
- ? Free CPD opportunities, including training in neurodevelopmental assessments (e.g., ADHD)
- ?? Full administrative support for booking, report formatting, and quality control
- ? Regular supervision and opportunities to collaborate with experienced clinicians

- GMC-registered doctor with a valid license to practice in the UK
- Ideally holds CCT in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (not essential)
- Proven experience in conducting autism and ADHD assessments in children and adolescents
- Up-to-date with revalidation and appraisal requirements
- Excellent communication skills with a kind, professional, and person-centred approach

- Appointments are conducted remotely, using secure telehealth systems
- Admin team support includes report formatting, scheduling, and quality assurance
