Childcare Solicitor

Service Care Solutions are currently working alongside a thrilling local authority based in Durham. They are looking for a Locum Childcare Solicitor to join their expanding legal team.

The role is on a fully remote basis and is on a 6 months contract with potential to extend.

This role pays a competitive rate of:
PAYE (Inc.Hol) - £44.48 £48.87 per hour  
Umbrella - £50-£55 per hour

Responsibilities as a Childcare Solicitor:

• To undertake legal research as required.
• To deal with a caseload of child care and education cases working on such cases directly or with assistance from other members of the team.
• To deal with requests for advice and assistance in the areas set out in the job purpose.
• Able to write reports or make amendments to reports as may be necessary.

About you as a Childcare Solicitor:

• A qualified Solicitor with at least 5 years of experience in childcare law
• Drafting Legal documents to a high-quality standard
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
