  • Lead a residential team, providing supervision, direction, and development opportunities.

  • Manage high-risk and complex cases, ensuring effective risk assessments and safeguarding practices.

  • Oversee service delivery, staffing, and budgets, ensuring the home operates effectively 24/7.

  • Maintain compliance with statutory and regulatory frameworks and promote a culture of restorative practice.

  • Ensure children and young people have up-to-date care records and participate in their care planning.

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with families, colleagues, and external agencies.

About You:

  • Strong knowledge of safeguarding, child protection, Children’s Act, National Minimum Standards, and Ofsted frameworks.

  • Proven experience in staff recruitment, supervision, and performance management.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work flexibly and provide cover as needed.

  • Enhanced DBS clearance with children’s barred list check.

  • Car user with ability to meet travel requirements of the role.

We Offer:

  • A values-based organisation committed to the development and wellbeing of both staff and children.

  • The opportunity to shape and influence a high-quality residential service.

  • Supportive leadership and professional development opportunities.
