Service Care Solutions are recruiting for an experienced Social Worker to join the Children's Social Care CIN/CP Team at Cheshire East Council, based in Crewe. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a supportive team, helping children and families through assessment, intervention, care planning and safeguarding processes to achieve positive outcomes.
The successful candidate will manage a caseload of children and families, undertaking assessments, identifying risks and implementing appropriate interventions. You will develop and review care plans, ensuring the child's voice, wishes and lived experiences remain central to all decision-making and planning. The role involves close partnership working with families, schools, health professionals and other agencies to safeguard children and promote their wellbeing.
You will be responsible for maintaining accurate case records, completing statutory responsibilities within required timescales, attending supervision and team meetings, and contributing to the development of effective social work practice. There may also be opportunities to support and mentor students and less experienced colleagues.

Requirements:
- Qualified Social Worker (CQSW, DipSW or equivalent)
- Current Social Work England registration
- Experience within a statutory children's social work setting
- Strong knowledge of safeguarding, assessment and care planning
- Ability to manage a varied caseload independently
- Excellent communication and partnership working skills
- Willingness to travel across Cheshire East and work flexibly when required
