Children’s Social Worker - Child Protection & Long Term Safeguarding Team

Service Care Solutions are recruiting for an experienced Children’s Social Worker to join the Child Protection & Long Term Safeguarding Team in Warwickshire.

This is a full-time agency position offering a 3-month contract with a strong possibility of extension. The role is ideal for social workers with experience managing complex child protection cases, safeguarding interventions, and long-term planning to achieve positive outcomes for children and families.

The Role:

• Managing a caseload of Child Protection and Long Term Safeguarding cases
• Undertaking assessments and developing effective care plans
• Working closely with children, families, schools, health professionals, and partner agencies
• Attending child protection conferences, core groups, and court proceedings where required
• Ensuring children are safeguarded and supported to achieve the best possible outcomes

Essential Requirements:

• Qualified Social Worker with a recognised Social Work qualification
• Registered with Social Work England
• Previous experience within Children’s Services, specifically Child Protection and Safeguarding
• Strong assessment, report writing, and communication skills
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle preferred

Contract Details:

• Location: Warwickshire
• Team: Child Protection & Long Term Safeguarding
• Pay Rate: £38 per hour Umbrella (£29.80 per hour PAYE Exclusive)
• Hours: Full Time
• Contract: 3 Months Ongoing with the view to extension
