Are you an experienced Registered Manager looking for the opportunity to lead a high-quality children’s residential service where you can genuinely make a difference?

We are currently recruiting for an experienced and passionate leader to manage a children’s residential home in South Ribble, Preston, supporting children and young people with emotional, behavioural and complex needs.

This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated Registered Manager to take ownership of a service, lead a committed team, and create a safe, nurturing environment where young people can thrive.

The Role As Registered Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the home delivers outstanding care, strong safeguarding practice, and positive outcomes for children and young people.

You will be responsible for:

? Leading, motivating, and developing a dedicated residential care team
? Ensuring the home operates in line with Ofsted regulations and quality standards
? Championing safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people
? Creating a positive, child-centred culture built around care, stability, and achievement
? Supporting staff development, supervision, and performance management
? Working collaboratively with families, professionals, and external agencies
? Driving continuous improvement across the service

About You We are looking for a confident and compassionate Registered Manager who has:

? Proven experience managing within children’s residential care
? A strong understanding of safeguarding and Ofsted requirements
? Experience supporting children and young people with complex needs, including emotional and behavioural difficulties
? Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or working towards)
? Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
? The ability to inspire, support, and develop a team
? A genuine passion for improving outcomes for children and young people
