Are you an experienced leader in children’s residential care ready to take the next step in your career? We are looking for a passionate and driven Children’s Registered Manager to lead and develop a high-quality children’s home in the Birmingham area.

? The Role As the Registered Manager, you will be responsible for the overall leadership, management, and development of the home, ensuring the highest standards of care and compliance are consistently delivered.

You’ll play a key role in creating a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment where children and young people can thrive.

? Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day running of the children’s home
• Ensure full compliance with Ofsted regulations and relevant legislation
• Lead, support, and develop a high-performing staff team
• Promote a child-centred approach to care and positive outcomes
• Manage safeguarding concerns effectively and professionally
• Maintain accurate records, care plans, and reporting systems
• Drive continuous improvement and quality within the service

? Requirements

• NVQ Level 5 in Leadership & Management (Children & Young People) – essential
• Previous experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy Manager in a children’s residential setting
• Strong knowledge of Ofsted standards and regulatory frameworks
• Proven leadership and team management skills
• Passion for delivering outstanding care and support
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
