Civil Litigation Solicitor

Service Care Solutions is currently working with a forward-thinking law firm based in Saddleworth who are looking for a Civil Litigation Solicitor.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and ambitious Civil Litigation Solicitor to join a dynamic team on a hybrid working basis. The successful candidate will manage their own caseload independently while also supporting a close-knit team consisting of the Director and Head of Department, alongside a Trainee Solicitor.

Job Title: Civil Litigation Solicitor
Location: Saddleworth/Hybrid Working
Salary: £30,000 – £60,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
Contract Type: Full-Time

Responsibilities as a Civil Litigation Solicitor:

• Managing a varied caseload of civil litigation and dispute resolution matters from inception to conclusion.
• Drafting legal documents, pleadings, witness statements, and correspondence.
• Conducting legal research and providing clear, practical advice to clients.
• Negotiating settlements on behalf of clients and representing their interests effectively.
• Handling claims confidently and efficiently, ensuring compliance with relevant procedural rules and deadlines.

 
About you as a Civil Litigation Solicitor:

• Qualified Solicitor with a strong Litigation law background.
• Proven experience handling a diverse and broad range of civil litigation and dispute resolution matters.
• Ability to manage cases independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent drafting and negotiation skills.
• Strong IT proficiency and experience using a case management system.
• Exceptional organisational and time management skills.
• Commercial awareness and a proactive approach to client development and networking.
• Confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
