Civil Litigation Solicitor

Service Care Solutions are currently recruiting on behalf of an award-winning law firm for an ambitious and driven Civil Litigation Solicitor to join their expanding and highly regarded Litigation team.

Location: Oldham/Hybrid
Salary: £33,000 - £42,000 per annum (Depending on Experience)
Job Type: Full-Time
PQE: At least 1-2 years
 
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated solicitor looking to develop their career within a supportive and growing department, working alongside experienced legal professionals while managing their own varied caseload.
The successful candidate will manage a broad range of Civil Litigation and Dispute Resolution matters from instruction through to conclusion. You will have the opportunity to work independently while receiving ongoing support and mentoring from senior members of the team.

Responsibilities as a Civil Litigation Solicitor:

• Manage a varied caseload of Civil Litigation and Dispute Resolution matters.
• Conduct claims from inception through to settlement or trial.
• Draft legal documents, pleadings, witness statements and correspondence.
• Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients.
• Provide clear, practical and commercially focused legal advice.
• Effectively manage your own workload using a case management system.

 
About you as a Civil Litigation Solicitor:

• Qualified Solicitor with 1-2 years' PQE in Civil Litigation.
• Experience handling a broad range of civil litigation and dispute resolution matters.
• Strong academic background.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation and communication skills.
• Strong organisational and time management abilities.
• Experience using legal case management systems.
• Excellent IT skills.
• A proactive and client-focused approach.
• Business development experience or an existing network of contacts would be advantageous.
