Job Title: Client Accountant
Location: Carlisle
Salary: £35,000 - £48,000 bonus

Service Care are working with an extremely well established Accountancy Firm across Cumbria. My client has been around for over 100 years and continue to grow from strength to strength. Due to this continued growth, they are looking for a Client Accountant to join their Carlisle.

What you will be doing:

• Responsible for a portfolio of clients responsible for all aspects of accounts preparation
• Plan, Prepare and review financial accounts.
• Prepare Income Tax for review.
• VAT return preparations and submissions on behalf of clients.
• Maintain accurate and up to date records of management accounts.
• Preparation of monthly and quarterly financial reports.
• Highlight opportunities for generating more income or areas to save for clients .
• Other ad hoc duties as and when required.

What you will have

• At least 5 years experience within an accountancy practice
• Experience with preparing year end accounts
• High attention to detail
• Ability to work to strict deadlines

In return you will receive

• Base salary between £35,000 - £48,000
• Up to 17% bonus, if targets are met
• Flexible start and finish times
• 20 days holiday banks, with the option to buy more
• Overtime pay
