Clinical Psychologist – ADHD Assessment, Supervision & Leadership Location: Manchester
Salary: £80,000 per annum
Working pattern: Hybrid – 1 day per week in person, with the remainder remote
About the role We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Clinical Psychologist to join our growing team in Manchester.
This is a senior clinical role with a particular focus on ADHD assessments, alongside clinical supervision, leadership and multidisciplinary team (MDT) working. You’ll play an important role in maintaining high standards of clinical practice while supporting the development of our wider clinical team.
The role offers an excellent balance of clinical work, professional leadership and flexibility, with one day per week working in person and the remainder remotely.

You’ll be confident working autonomously while also enjoying collaborative MDT working. You should have excellent clinical judgement and communication skills, alongside experience of supervising other clinicians.

Key responsibilities
- Conduct high-quality ADHD assessments for adults, working in line with relevant clinical guidance and best practice.
- Provide clinical oversight and MDT sign-off for assessments and diagnostic decisions.
- Provide regular clinical supervision to psychologists and other members of the clinical team.
- Support and develop clinicians through mentoring, case discussion and reflective practice.
- Contribute to clinical leadership, governance and the continuous improvement of assessment pathways.
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, ensuring clear communication and robust clinical decision-making.
- Support the development and implementation of clinical policies, processes and quality standards.
- Contribute to service development and help shape an effective, evidence-based ADHD assessment service.
- Maintain accurate clinical records and uphold professional, ethical and regulatory standards.
You’ll be confident working autonomously while also enjoying collaborative MDT working. You should have excellent clinical judgement and communication skills, alongside experience of supervising other clinicians.
You will ideally have:
- A Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (or equivalent recognised qualification).
- HCPC registration as a Clinical Psychologist.
- Substantial experience conducting ADHD assessments.
- Experience working within multidisciplinary teams.
- Experience providing clinical supervision.
- Strong understanding of relevant ADHD diagnostic frameworks, evidence-based practice and clinical governance.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A proactive approach to clinical leadership and service development.
- The ability to work independently in a predominantly remote environment.
