Contracts and Procurement Solicitor

Service Care Solutions is recruiting on behalf of a forward-thinking Local Authority, based in Berkshire, which is seeking an experienced Contracts and Procurement Solicitor to join their Legal Services team on a part-time basis.
 
Role: Contracts and Procurement Solicitor
Location: Berkshire – Local Authority – Remote
Duration: 3 months ongoing - 22 hours per week – Days Negotiable
Umbrella Rate: £50-£55ph
PAYE Inc. Rate: £44.10 - £48.44ph
 
The Role:

• Handle a caseload of contracts and procurement law from start to completion.
• You’ll support internal departments, lead on drafting and reviewing agreements, and guide clients through compliant procurement processes.
• Support junior members of the team when required.

Requirements

• Local authority experience is desirable but not essential
• Have 3+ years of PQE in Contracts and Procurement law as a Solicitor (in England and Wales) with a current practicing certificate.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
