Contracts and Procurement Solicitor

Service Care Solutions is working with a well-regarded Local Authority, based in Lincolnshire, which needs a Contracts and Procurement Solicitor to join their team on a part-time basis.
 
Role: Contracts and Procurement Solicitor
Location: Lincolnshire – local authority
Umbrella Rate: £50 - £55ph
PAYE Inc. Rate: £44.10 - £48.44ph
Contract Length: 3 months ongoing – 22 to 25 hours per week
 
Key Requirements

• Handle a mixed caseload of contracts and procurement law from start to completion. This will include services contracts, IT contracts, framework agreements, collaborative procurements, grant agreements and subsidy control.
• Work collaboratively with the Local Authority, its partner District Councils and the recently created Combined County Authority.
• Support junior members of the team as and when required.

Key Requirements

• Be a qualified Solicitor (in England and Wales) with 3 years of PQE in Contracts and Procurement law.
• Have strong public sector experience within a Commercial Legal team.
• Be able to work independently and as part of a team.
