ROLE: Court of Protection Solicitor
LOCATION: Central London
SALARY: £40,000–£55,000 (DOE)
PQE: 2–6 years’ PQE
The Role:
You will manage a varied caseload of Welfare cases in the Court of Protection, alongside related Mental Health, Community Care, and Judicial Review matters. Depending on experience, you may also assist with supervision and mentoring of junior colleagues and contribute to the development of the team’s profile.

The Ideal Candidate:
- Qualified Solicitor or FILEX with 2–6 years’ PQE in Mental Capacity or Mental Health law
- Experience in Court of Protection welfare cases
- Knowledge of Mental Health, Community Care, and Judicial Review law
- Familiarity with Legal Aid processes
- Excellent client care and communication skills, particularly with vulnerable clients
- Member of or working towards the Law Society Mental Health (Welfare) Accreditation Scheme
