Court of Protection Solicitor

Service Care Legal are working with a respected Legal 500 firm is expanding its specialist Court of Protection team and is seeking a Solicitor at NQ–4 PQE. The role focuses on Property & Affairs, working on complex and high-value estates while supporting individuals who lack capacity and their families.

ROLE:                  Court of Protection Solicitor
PQE:                     NQ to 4 years’ PQE
LOCATION:         North West London
SALARY:              £40,000 to £60,000

The Role

You’ll manage a varied caseload alongside experienced Deputies, including:
 

• Handling Court of Protection Property & Affairs matters.
• Preparing Court and Statutory Will applications.
• Attending and representing clients at Court of Protection hearings.
• Investigating potential financial abuse.
• Assisting with estate administration and asset management.
• Liaising with the OPG, Deputies, families and other professionals.

About You
 

• NQ–4 PQE Solicitor, ideally with Court of Protection experience.
• Excellent organisation, time management and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to explain complex matters clearly.
• Proactive, client-focused and keen to develop within a specialist COP team.
