Divisional Business Manager – Education Location: Remote – Regular Travel Required

Service Care Solutions is recruiting an experienced, commercially minded Divisional Business Manager to join a leading education provider supporting a national network of specialist education services.
This is a pivotal leadership role working closely with the Divisional Director and Senior Leadership Team to provide strategic, operational and financial insight across multiple education settings.
The Role Reporting to the Divisional Director, you will work with Regional Directors, Headteachers, Principals, Business Managers and central support teams to deliver strategic objectives and drive sustainable growth.
You will analyse financial and operational performance, support business reviews, identify risks and opportunities, and lead projects that improve efficiency and performance. The role includes line management responsibilities and regular travel to education sites.

- Support strategic planning and operational performance across the division.
- Monitor occupancy, admissions, fee income, budgets and financial performance.
- Analyse KPIs and produce accurate management reports and performance insights.
- Support Headteachers, Principals and Business Managers through monthly finance reviews.
- Identify trends, risks, opportunities and areas for continuous improvement.
- Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders across multiple sites.
- Coordinate divisional projects, strategic initiatives and operational improvements.
- Lead, coach and develop a team of Business Managers.
- Take operational responsibility for the organisation's online education provision.
- Promote collaboration, accountability and continuous improvement.
We're looking for a confident and proactive professional with strong commercial awareness and excellent analytical skills.
Essential:
- Bachelor's degree or Level 3 qualification in Business Administration or related discipline.
- Experience analysing complex business and financial data.
- Strong understanding of budgets, financial reporting and P&L accounts.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Excellent communication, organisation and time management skills.
- Ability to influence and build relationships with senior stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
- High levels of professionalism, discretion and confidentiality.
