Job Title: Early Intervention Worker
Location: Enfield Children’s Centres
Hours: 35 hours per week
Contract length: Initially 3 months - potential to extend
Salary: £21 UMBRELLA per hour (£17 PAYE)

We are looking for a passionate and skilled Early Intervention Worker to join the Children’s Centre Hub Team within Enfield. This exciting role involves delivering high-quality play and communication activities to support the growth and development of children aged 0–4 years across Enfield.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver activities that support communication, language, and literacy development in young children.
  
  
• Help increase the proportion of children achieving expected levels of communication and literacy at the end of the Foundation Stage.
  
  
• Record and report outcomes of worker-led events and user activities according to Centre procedures.
  
  
• Contribute to delivering services aligned with the Government’s Core Purpose for Children’s Centres, improving outcomes and reducing inequalities in:
  
  
  • Child development and school readiness
    
    
  • Parenting aspirations and parenting skills
    
    
  • Child and family health and life chances
    
    

The ideal candidate will:

• Be passionate about early years development and supporting families.
  
  
• Be flexible to carry out daily work at any children’s centre setting, including satellite and community sites.
  
  
• Have excellent communication and organisational skills.
