Are you an experienced EHC professional looking for a rewarding role within a Local Authority? We’re partnering with a Local Authority in the Essex area to appoint a skilled EHC Plan Professional to join their established team.

Salary: £39,152 – £45,091 (dependent on experience)
Working Pattern: Essex (Hybrid)
Essential: Local Authority experience
Contract: Fixed term until 31st March 2027

Key Responsibilities: You will manage one of the following caseloads:

• New assessments: 40–60 EHC assessments
• Existing plans: 200–240 current EHC plans

You will be responsible for producing high-quality, legally compliant EHC plans, in line with statutory SEND legislation and internal QA processes.
About You:

• Strong knowledge of SEND legislation
• Proven experience creating EHC plans that meet statutory requirements
• Able to work independently while contributing to a supportive team environment
