We’re recruiting for an experienced Electrical Tester to join an established Housing Association, working as part of their in-house Property Services team across Redhill and the surrounding areas.

What you'll be doing
- Carrying out EICRs across occupied and void social housing properties
- Completing electrical testing, inspection and certification
- Diagnosing electrical faults and carrying out necessary repairs
- Completing remedial works identified through testing
- Carrying out consumer unit replacements and upgrades
- Completing responsive electrical repairs and planned maintenance works
- Producing accurate, NICEIC-compliant certification
- Ensuring all work meets current electrical regulations and safety standards
- Updating jobs, certificates and work orders using a handheld device
- Providing a professional and respectful service when working in residents' homes
- Participating in the out-of-hours call-out rota
What we're looking for
You'll need to be an experienced and qualified Electrician with a strong background in inspection and testing.
Essential:
- NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- 2391 / 2394 / 2395 Inspection & Testing qualification
- Previous experience completing EICRs
- Strong fault-finding and remedial repair experience
- Full UK Driving Licence
