We are seeking a skilled and qualified Electrician to join the Repairs team in the Lewisham area. This role involves carrying out electrical works in both occupied domestic properties and commercial environments, ensuring high standards of safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.
You will be responsible for installations, testing, fault finding, and ensuring compliance with the latest wiring regulations (BS 7671).

About the Role

You will be responsible for installations, testing, fault finding, and ensuring compliance with the latest wiring regulations (BS 7671).
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out electrical repairs, maintenance, and installations in occupied and void properties
- Conduct Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs)
- Ensure all work meets current 18th Edition regulations
- Use testing and measurement equipment safely and effectively
- Work independently, making on-site decisions as required
- Maintain accurate records and provide reports when needed
- Adhere to all health, safety, and equality procedures
- Experience working in occupied domestic properties (essential)
- Experience with commercial installations, including steel trunking and conduit systems (desirable)
- Thorough understanding of the 18th Edition wiring regulations (BS 7671)
- Proficient in using electrical testing equipment
- Strong written communication and reporting skills
- Experience working independently and making effective decisions
- City & Guilds Level 3 Certificate in Electrotechnical Technology (or equivalent)
- NVQ Level 3 or above
- 18th Edition Certification
- City & Guilds 2391-52 – Level 3 Award in Initial and Periodic Inspection and Testing of Electrical Installations
- Full, clean UK driving licence
